Jan 2020

Our founding team of engineers saw a need for creating systems that handle both the vision and controls of automation. After a year in the making we formed Neon Perception.

Dec 2021

Completion of our engine and first demo is presented to the public. The Neon Perception Engine is the core to our entire system providing multithreading and integration with the robots and sensors to process our data.

2022

Neon Perception partnered with Becom Group. Their TOREO sensor camera provides 3D and IR color data streams to our system. With this data, our system is able to calculate how to best pick and place items.

Apr 2022

Induction cell at Yaskawa facility. In the first 5 days on site, Neon Perception was able to fully integrate all the features of the material handling cell into Yaskawa's system. With just two robots we achieved rates of 1700-2200 PPH with peak rates up to 2700 PPH.
